'Dear Mrs Read

In case I do not see you tomorrow, I just want to say thank you so much for the lovely and motivating message you left for my son on ITS learning. He was very happy to receive the message and it definitely gave him a boost!  Thank you to you and all the teachers who have helped him prepare for the SATS. He has had a few wobbly moments with his lack of confidence, especially in Maths but he come on so well in the last six weeks with all your great teaching and support.'

Thank you

Working within the education sector I understand the importance and appreciation of feedback, therefore I felt it is of great importance to highlight how I feel my daughter has settled in at your school.

My daughter recently joined the school at the start of term, I was slightly apprehensive about this start due to the fact that she didn't attend the school's nursery. However, myself and her father could not be happier with the start that she has made and the progression that is clearly very apparent. She loves coming to school, her reading and phonics is something that has taken a rapid progression, so much that all her family members have noticed.

Through her recent report/parents evenings myself and her father are fully aware of the next steps she needs to take and how she can achieve these. We are also aware of how we can support her with reaching her next steps and the actions we need to take at home to further facilitate her learning.

I feel that communication from the school is fantastic, I feel I am kept fully up to date through the information provided on parent pay, I also appreciate the text messages that are sent.

My daughter has regular attendance at the before and after school club provided by the school, I would like to give a special thank you to Ms Barley and Ms Ryan who I feel are both assets to the school, they have made the club feel like home. My daughter was very nervous to leave me at first has had a drastic mindset change and she now enjoys attending both before and after school club, so much so that when I am able to drop her off at 8:50 she gets upset as her day didn't start off with seeing Ms Barley.
They both go above and beyond to support her and all of the other students who attend the club.

I would also like to give a special thanks to the receptionist, who has always been so professional, polite and supported me with any queries that I have had as a new parent to the school.

Thanks again to all the staff at Harmondsworth, I understand that we are in difficult times at the moment. Supporting each other as a community is key.

Stay safe,

Thank you for helping me learn and grow for the past 8 years. From Nursery to Year 6, I've had the best teachers and members of staff guide, support and encourage me and I couldn't be more grateful. I appreciate everyone at the school since without them, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I have always felt at home at the school and I do believe we are like a huge family; we care and look out for each other. Thank you for helping me to settle in and feel welcome when I first joined in 2012. I have come a long way since then and I've had the best start to my school life because of you ALL!

Now it's the end of the year,
It's time to say goodbye,
Leaving here,
To go on to something new,
Feeling sad,
'Cos I want to stay,
But I'm really excited and I want to say:

Thank you for all you've done,
I will never forget you.
Thank you for being there,
And showing me how much you care.

Moving on,
I am sad to be leaving you.
Making change,
I am happy there's something new,
Going on,
'Though I'd like to stay,
I am really excited and I want to say:

It's with happy memories,
That I will walk out the door,
With hopes for good things,
That the future holds in store.

I just wanted to thank you, your staff and your pupils for hosting our sculpture workshop last Thursday.
I have worked in many schools over the years but I was impressed by the way your children confidently rose to quite a difficult challenge. They demonstrated an amazing 'have a go’ attitude and I don’t think I once heard those dreaded words ‘I can’t do it”.
They were polite yet forthcoming with great ideas and contributions. Congratulations on having such credit worthy young people to work with.

Thanks again and Best wishes

Many thanks for having me into your school today. It was lovely to meet your students and I hope everyone enjoyed the session and learnt something new. I was very impressed with their behaviour, how well they listened and were able to be controlled in using the voting pods – often the excitement can be too much! They also asked some very intelligent questions especially about the House of Lords.

Best wishes

Many thanks for your email and thank you so much for inviting me to visit. All the children at Harmondsworth Primary were beautifully behaved and listened attentively throughout my talk. The answered all my questions politely and it was a pleasure to speak to them today.  It was lovely to see so many dog lovers in the room and an eagerness to learn about dog safety.

I attended the performance last night of the Zany Zoo to see my grandson perform.  There were actually four generations of his family there last night.

I thought the show was a wonderful testament to the talent of the children, the dedication of the staff and the support of the parents.

A lot of hard work must have gone into the production and the parents and friends very much appreciated that.  it was funny, entertaining and really brought home to the children how diverse and culturally gifted their school is.

I have visited your school many times since my grandson joined and have always felt that it has a very welcoming feel about it and it is very much a community school.

Thank you for a wonderful evening and I wish you and your staff a restful holiday

I would also like to thank you, Mrs Groenen and especially Ms Winton & Mrs Booth for the exceptional care provided to Max in Nursery: He has flourished during his time at Harmondsworth, from a hesitant and wary child to one who is delighted to be going to school. The school is a lovely, stimulating environment, the teachers are kind and compassionate - I can honestly say that withdrawing Max from Harmondsworth is probably one of the things we are saddest about in relation to relocating abroad.

I visit a lot of schools all over the country, talking about poetry and my books, and my visit to Harmondsworth Primary at the end of October was up there with some of my favourite visits. The wonderful, warm welcome from the head and the other members of staff, and the brilliant smiles and amazing ideas bubbling out of the heads of the kids I talked to and with were so encouraging, funny and surprising… It’s always a Good Thing to see such a diverse – in all meanings of that word – collection of kids getting on and being kids, enjoying themselves and unafraid to share their thoughts, that it shows there are reasons to be optimistic about the future, despite the gloom of current events we grown ups live with… From my fleeting visit it seems Harmondsworth Primary is a happy little school, focussed on the kids, caring and friendly. So well done all who sail in her!

Dear Mrs Dowding,
It has been privilege for our son to attend HPS for the last two years, however he will be leaving the school as we're moving back to Poland this summer. His last day of school will be on 14th July (Friday) 2017.

We will always be grateful for the school's nurturing environment, excellent education standards and wonderful atmosphere.

Kind Regards

I can appreciate all the hard work and added pressures you all go through when you have an inspection.

I read the letter you received regarding the recent Ofsted inspection and fully agree that the school is a "good" school.  However, we as parents class
it as exceptional.

Yourself and all members of staff are wonderful and it always amazes me how you all know the children by their first names.  It's very warming to see how all the staff interact with the children.

My husband and I have seen our child flourish at Harmondsworth and we really do appreciate
you and all the staff members for your hard work and efforts.

Whatever Ofsted status the school is given we could never praise you all high enough.

Thank you!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Kindest regards

Sam

Dear Mrs Dowding,
It has been a privilege to send our son to Harmondsworth, even for a short while.  We really did feel the close bond the school has with everyone.

We were really surprised to hear all the staff address him by name as if they knew him for a long time, even though it was only his 2nd day.  A massive thank you for all your efforts to make him feel at home and for all the care and attention he received.
